Solution

1. Preparation

• Ensure the vehicle is in park and the parking brake is engaged.
• Disconnect the negative terminal of the 12V battery to prevent electrical shock.

2. Battery Connection Repair

• Inspect and Clean Terminals
  • Remove the battery terminals (positive first, then negative).
  • Clean any corrosion with a wire brush and a baking soda solution (1 tablespoon baking soda in 1 cup of water).
  • Reconnect the terminals, starting with the positive terminal, ensuring they are tight.

3. Battery Replacement (if necessary)

• Remove the Old Battery
  • Unscrew any retaining brackets and carefully lift the battery out of the tray.
• Install New Battery
  • Place the new battery in the tray, ensuring the positive and negative terminals match the wiring.
  • Secure the battery with the retaining brackets.
