Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
  • Allow the vehicle to cool down if it has been recently driven to avoid burns from hot coolant.
  • Gather necessary tools: gloves, a flashlight (if needed).
2. Locate the Coolant Reservoir
  • Open the front trunk (frunk) by using the interior release or key fob.
  • Identify the coolant reservoir, typically a translucent tank located near the front of the frunk.
3. Inspect the Coolant Level
  • Visually check the coolant level through the side of the reservoir.
  • The coolant should be between the "MIN" (minimum) and "MAX" (maximum) markings on the reservoir.
  • If the level is below the minimum mark, proceed to the next step.
4. Add Coolant (if necessary)
  • If the coolant level is low, ensure you have the correct type of coolant (usually Tesla-approved coolant).
  • Carefully remove the cap from the coolant reservoir to avoid any pressure release.
  • Using a funnel, slowly add coolant until the level reaches the maximum mark.
  • Replace and tighten the cap securely.
