Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: trim removal tool, screwdriver set, multimeter.
  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked safely.
  • Disconnect the 12V battery to avoid electrical shock.
2. Remove Door Panel
  • Use a trim removal tool to carefully pry off the door panel clips.
  • Remove screws in the armrest and around the door handle using the appropriate screwdriver.
  • Disconnect any electrical connectors to the door panel and carefully lift it off.
3. Inspect Window Motor and Wiring
  • Locate the window motor and inspect it for any visible damage or wear.
  • Use a multimeter to test the voltage at the motor connector when the window switch is activated. The voltage should be approximately 12V.
  • If no voltage is present, trace the wiring back to the switch and fuse for continuity.
4. Replace Window Motor (if necessary)
  • If the motor is defective, remove the three bolts securing it to the window regulator.
  • Disconnect the motor connector and install the new motor in the reverse order.
  • Reattach the bolts and ensure they are torqued to factory specifications.
5. Reassemble Door Panel
  • Reconnect all electrical connectors to the door panel.
  • Align the door panel and press down to secure the clips.
  • Reinstall screws in the armrest and around the door handle.
6. Reconnect Battery and Test
  • Reconnect the 12V battery.
  • Test the window operation using the window switch and ensure all windows function correctly.
