Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • OBD-II scanner
    • Flathead screwdriver
    • Socket set
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the ignition is off.
2. Access the Fuse Box
  • Locate the fuse box; refer to the owner’s manual for the specific location.
  • Remove the cover of the fuse box using a flathead screwdriver if necessary.
3. Inspect the Wiper Relay
  • Identify the wiper relay using the diagram located on the inside of the fuse box cover.

  • Insert the new relay back into the correct socket.
  • Replace the fuse box cover securely.
5. Reset the Wiper System
  • Turn the vehicle on and navigate to the wiper settings on the touchscreen.
  • Set the wipers to the off position and then cycle through the settings to ensure they respond correctly.
6. Perform a System Check
  • Use the OBD-II scanner to check for any lingering codes related to the wiper system and clear them if necessary.
