Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and turned off.
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
2. Update Software
  • Navigate to the software update section on the display.
  • If an update is available, initiate the update and allow the vehicle to complete the process.
3. Inspect Wiring and Connectors
  • Remove any underbody covers if necessary to access the drive unit.
  • Visually inspect all wiring harnesses and connectors leading to the drive unit for wear or disconnection.
  • Secure any loose connections and replace any damaged wiring.
4. Replace Drive Unit (if required)
  • If diagnostics indicate a failure in the drive unit itself, proceed with replacement:
    1. Disconnect the vehicle battery to ensure safety.
    2. Remove the motor cover if applicable.
    3. Disconnect electrical connectors from the drive unit.
    4. Remove the mounting bolts securing the drive unit with a socket set.
    5. Carefully slide the drive unit out of its mounting position.
    6. Install the new drive unit by sliding it into position and securing it with the mounting bolts to the manufacturer's torque specifications.
    7. Reconnect all electrical connectors and reattach any covers.
5. System Reset
  • After repairs are completed, perform a system reset by shutting the vehicle down completely and restarting it.
