Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather the necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Wear safety goggles and gloves for protection.
2. Tools Required
  • Brake bleeder wrench or open-end wrench (10mm or 12mm, depending on caliper)
  • Clear plastic tubing (to direct fluid into a container)
  • Brake fluid (DOT 3 or DOT 4, as specified by the manufacturer)
  • Brake bleeder kit (optional)
  • Jack and jack stands (if necessary)
  • Torque wrench (for reassembly)
3. Bleeding Process
  1. Remove the Wheel (if necessary)

    • Loosen wheel lug nuts slightly.
    • Jack up the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
    • Remove the wheel to access the brake caliper.
  2. Locate the Brake Bleeder Valve

    • Identify the bleeder valve on the brake caliper.
    • Clean the area around the valve to prevent contamination.
  3. Attach the Tubing

    • Place a clear plastic tube over the bleeder valve, directing the other end into a container to catch old brake fluid.
  4. Press the Brake Pedal

    • Have an assistant press the brake pedal slowly and hold it down.
    • Open the bleeder valve using the wrench to allow fluid and air to escape.
    • Close the valve before your assistant releases the brake pedal.
  5. Repeat the Process

    • Repeat the pumping and bleeding procedure until no more air bubbles are visible in the fluid coming through the tubing.
    • Ensure to keep an eye on the brake fluid level in the reservoir and top up as needed to prevent it from running dry.
  6. Complete the Bleeding

    • Move to the next wheel (usually the order is: right rear, left rear, right front, left front) and repeat the bleeding process.
    • Once all wheels are bled, ensure all bleeder valves are securely closed.
4. Reassemble
  • Reinstall the wheel if removed and torque the lug nuts to the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Lower the vehicle back down to the ground.
