Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: multimeter, jumper cables, socket set, and a battery terminal cleaner.

2. Jump-Start the Battery
  1. Connect the positive (red) jumper cable to the positive terminal of the dead battery.
  2. Connect the other end of the positive (red) jumper cable to the positive terminal of the working battery.
  3. Connect the negative (black) jumper cable to the negative terminal of the working battery.
  4. Connect the other end of the negative (black) jumper cable to a clean, unpainted metal surface on the dead vehicle (ground).
  5. Start the engine of the working vehicle and let it run for a few minutes before attempting to start the dead vehicle.
3. Battery Replacement (if necessary)
  1. Disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal of the dead battery.
