Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool
    • New cabin air filter (specific to 2012-2017 Toyota Camry)
  • Safety Warnings:
    • Ensure the engine is turned off and the key is removed from the ignition.
2. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  1. Open the glove compartment and remove all contents.
  2. Locate the stop arm on the right side of the glove compartment and gently press it inward to allow the glove box to drop down fully.
  3. Remove the screws or clips securing the access panel (if applicable) using a flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool.
3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  1. Carefully pull the old cabin air filter out of the housing. Note the orientation of the filter for correct installation of the new one.
