Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Tools Required: Flathead screwdriver, small Phillips screwdriver.
  • Parts Required: CR2032 battery (if replacement is needed).
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Using a flathead screwdriver, gently pry open the key fob casing along the seam.
  • Be careful to avoid damaging the plastic casing.
3. Replace the Battery
  • Remove the old battery from the fob, noting the orientation of the positive (+) and negative (-) sides.
  • Insert a new CR2032 battery, ensuring it is oriented correctly.
  • Reassemble the key fob casing by snapping it back together securely.
4. Reprogram the Key Fob (if necessary)
  • Sit in the driver's seat with all doors closed.
  • Insert the key into the ignition and turn from "OFF" to "ON" five times within 10 seconds. Leave in the "ON" position on the fifth turn.
