my Toyota Corolla E140 (2006-2013) has poor throttle response what's wrong

1. Preparation

• Gather all necessary tools and parts.
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety during the repair.

2. Clean Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body using a socket set.
• Spray throttle body cleaner into the throttle body and wipe with a clean cloth.
• Ensure the throttle plate moves freely and reassemble the air intake duct.

3. Test and Replace Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (if necessary)

• Disconnect the electrical connector from the accelerator pedal position sensor.
• Use a multimeter to check the resistance across the sensor terminals while pressing the accelerator pedal.
• Replace the sensor if the resistance readings are outside the manufacturer's specifications.
