Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts.

2. Clean or Replace the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV)
  • Tools Required: Socket set, screwdrivers, throttle body cleaner
  • Locate the IACV on the throttle body.
  • Remove the electrical connector and screws holding the IACV in place.
  • Clean the IACV with throttle body cleaner or replace it if it is faulty.
  • Reinstall the IACV and reconnect the electrical connector.
3. Clean the Throttle Body
  • Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, soft cloth
