Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: flashlight (if needed), clean cloth.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is completely cool.
2. Locate and Inspect the Coolant Reservoir
  • Open the hood and secure it with the prop rod.
  • Identify the coolant reservoir, which is usually a translucent plastic tank near the radiator.
  • Check the side of the reservoir for the MIN and MAX level indicators.
3. Check Coolant Level
  • If the coolant level is below the MIN mark:
    • Add Coolant: Remove the cap by turning it counterclockwise.
    • Use a funnel to pour the appropriate coolant mixture (50% antifreeze and 50% distilled water) until it reaches the MAX level.
    • Replace the cap securely by twisting it clockwise.
4. Inspect for Leaks
  • Check hoses and the radiator for any signs of leakage.
  • Wipe any spilled coolant from the reservoir and surrounding areas.
