1. Preparation

• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shock.
• Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel filler cap and using a fuel pressure relief tool.

2. Remove the Fuel Pump

• Tools Required: Fuel line disconnect tool, socket set, torque wrench.
• Remove the rear seat or access panel to reach the fuel pump assembly.
• Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pump.
• Loosen the retaining ring holding the fuel pump assembly in place using the appropriate tool.
• Carefully lift the fuel pump assembly out of the tank, ensuring not to damage the fuel lines.
