Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and secure it with wheel chocks.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during repair.
2. Check Transmission Fluid
  • Tools Required: Transmission dipstick, funnel.
  • Remove the transmission dipstick and wipe it clean.
  • Reinsert it and remove it again to check the fluid level; it should be within the marked range.
  • If low, add the recommended transmission fluid type as specified in the owner's manual.
3. Replace Transmission Filter
  • Tools Required: Socket set, replacement transmission filter, gasket, and fluid.
  • Raise the vehicle safely using jack stands.
  • Remove the transmission pan by unscrewing the bolts.
  • Carefully lower the pan and allow the old fluid to drain into a container.
  • Remove the old transmission filter and replace it with the new one.
  • Clean the pan and replace the gasket before reattaching it.
4. Flush Transmission Fluid
  • Tools Required: Transmission fluid flush machine (optional), replacement transmission fluid.
  • Connect the flush machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions or perform a manual flush by disconnecting the cooler line.
  • Run the engine and allow the old fluid to be pushed out while adding new fluid until it runs clear.
  • Reconnect all lines securely.
5. Recheck Fluid Levels and Test Drive
  • After completing the fluid replacement and filter change, recheck the fluid level with the dipstick.
  • Start the vehicle and let it warm up while checking for leaks.
  • Take the vehicle for a test drive to ensure the slipping issue is resolved.
