Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Socket set
    • Screwdriver set
    • Gloves (to prevent oils from skin contacting the bulb)
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the ignition is turned off.
2. Access the Headlight Assembly
  • Open the hood and locate the back of the headlight assembly.
  • Remove any necessary covers or components obstructing access to the bulb (this may include screws or clips).
  • If the headlight assembly needs to be removed, use the appropriate socket to unscrew the assembly bolts and carefully pull out the assembly.
3. Remove the Old Bulb
  • Locate the bulb socket at the back of the headlight assembly.
  • Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to release it from the assembly.
  • Gently pull the old bulb straight out of the socket.
4. Install the New Bulb
  • Take the new headlight bulb out of the package, avoiding touching the glass with bare hands.
  • Insert the new bulb into the socket, ensuring it is seated properly.
  • Turn the bulb socket clockwise to secure it back into the headlight assembly.
5. Reassemble the Headlight Assembly
  • If you removed the headlight assembly, carefully place it back into position.
  • Secure it with the previously removed bolts or clips.
  • Replace any covers that were removed for access.
6. Test the Headlight
  • Turn on the vehicle and activate the headlights to ensure the new bulb is working correctly.
