1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe, flat area.
  • Turn off the engine and remove the key from the ignition.
2. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  • Tools Required: None
  • Locate the glove compartment and open it.
  • Detach the damper arm (if equipped) by gently pulling it away from the compartment.
  • Squeeze the sides of the glove compartment inward to release the stops and allow the compartment to drop down.
3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  • Tools Required: None
  • Locate the cabin air filter cover, which is usually on the back of the glove compartment.
  • Unclip or unscrew the cover and carefully remove it.
  • Pull out the old cabin air filter, noting the orientation for installation of the new filter.
4. Install the New Cabin Air Filter
