Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Disconnect the vehicle's battery to prevent electrical issues.

Tools Required:

  • OBD-II scanner
  • Fuel pressure gauge
  • Socket set
  • Torque wrench
  • Throttle body cleaner
  • Screwdrivers
2. Clean Throttle Body
  • Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body.
  • Use a throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the inside of the throttle body.
  • Ensure the throttle plate moves freely and is not sticking.
  • Reinstall the air intake duct and reconnect any sensors or hoses.
3. Check and Replace Spark Plugs
  • Remove the ignition coils using a socket set.
  • Take out the spark plugs and inspect for wear or fouling.
  • Replace spark plugs with OEM or equivalent parts, ensuring the correct gap.
  • Reinstall the ignition coils, torquing to the manufacturer’s specifications.
4. Inspect and Test Fuel System
  • Connect the fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail's test port.
  • Turn the ignition on (without starting the engine) to check the fuel pressure.
  • If pressure is low, inspect the fuel pump and fuel filter for issues.
  • Replace the fuel filter if it’s clogged and consider replacing the fuel pump if necessary.
