1. Preparation

• Disconnect the battery before starting any electrical work.
• Allow the engine to cool before working on any components.

2. Clean the Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
• Use throttle body cleaner and a clean rag to remove any carbon deposits from the throttle plate and interior walls.
• Reinstall the air intake duct, ensuring all clamps are secure.

3. Replace Fuel Filter (if applicable)

• Locate the fuel filter (check the owner’s manual for specific location).
• Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
• Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter, being cautious of residual fuel.
• Remove the old filter and install the new one, ensuring correct orientation.
• Reconnect the fuel lines and replace the fuel pump fuse.

4. Inspect and Replace Spark Plugs

• Remove the ignition coils by unscrewing the retaining bolts and gently pulling them out.
• Remove the old spark plugs using a spark plug socket and ratchet.
