Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is turned off.
  • Gather tools: OBD-II scanner, socket set, multimeter, and torque wrench.
2. Check Transmission Fluid
  • Remove the transmission dipstick and wipe clean.
  • Reinsert and pull out to check the fluid level; add fluid if low.

3. Replace Torque Converter Lock-Up Solenoid (if faulty)
  • Disconnect the vehicle battery to prevent electrical shock.
  • Raise the vehicle securely on jack stands.
  • Locate and remove the transmission pan to access the solenoid.
  • Disconnect electrical connectors from the solenoid.
  • Remove the solenoid using a socket set.
  • Install the new solenoid in reverse order of removal.
