Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
  • Gather required tools: lint-free cloth or paper towel.
2. Check Fluid Level
  • Step 1: Start the engine and let it idle for 3-5 minutes. This allows the transmission fluid to circulate.
  • Step 2: Locate the transmission dipstick. It is usually marked with a bright color (often yellow or red) and located near the back of the engine.
  • Step 3: Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a lint-free cloth or paper towel to remove old fluid.
  • Step 4: Reinsert the dipstick fully back into the tube.
  • Step 5: Remove the dipstick again and hold it horizontally to check the fluid level. The fluid should be within the marked "Full" and "Add" lines on the dipstick.
  • Step 6: If the fluid is low, prepare to add transmission fluid.
3. Add Transmission Fluid (if necessary)
  • Step 1: Using a funnel, add the recommended type of transmission fluid (check owner’s manual for specifications).
  • Step 2: Add fluid gradually and check the level frequently by repeating the dipstick checking process until the correct level is reached.
