Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: flathead screwdriver and a new battery (CR2032).
  • Ensure you are working in a clean area to avoid losing small components.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Use the flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob along the seam. Be careful not to apply excessive force that could damage the casing.
  • Work your way around the fob until it is completely separated into two halves.
3. Remove the Old Battery
  • Locate the battery inside the fob. Note the orientation (positive side facing up).
  • Carefully remove the old battery, taking care not to damage any surrounding components.
4. Insert the New Battery
  • Place the new CR2032 battery into the key fob, ensuring it is oriented in the same way as the old battery (positive side up).
  • Ensure it is seated properly in the battery compartment.
5. Reassemble the Key Fob
  • Align the two halves of the key fob.
  • Press them together firmly until they click back into place. Ensure there are no gaps between the halves.
