1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: OBD-II scanner, socket set, multimeter, fuel pressure gauge, noid light.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Access Fuel Injectors
  • Remove the engine cover by unscrewing the bolts or clips holding it in place.
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors by pressing the tabs and pulling them off.
  • Remove any necessary components (e.g., intake manifold) to gain better access to the fuel rail if required.
3. Remove Fuel Injectors
  • Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
