Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: small flathead screwdriver, multimeter, replacement battery (CR2032), and a clean cloth.
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a well-ventilated area and parked safely.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Use the small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing.
  2. Carefully separate the two halves of the key fob without damaging the internal components.
  3. Remove the old battery, taking note of the orientation (positive side up).
  4. Insert the new battery (CR2032) in the same orientation as the old one.
  5. Reassemble the key fob casing, ensuring it snaps back together securely.
3. Reprogram Key Fob (if necessary)
  1. Sit in the vehicle and close all doors.
  2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine.
  3. Press and hold the "Lock" button on the key fob for approximately 5 seconds.
  4. Turn the ignition to the "Off" position and remove the key.
  5. Test the key fob to ensure it operates correctly.
