Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: None
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe location with the engine off.
2. Remove the Glove Compartment
  1. Detach the Damper:

    • Locate the damper arm on the right side of the glove compartment.
    • Gently pull it off to detach it.
  2. Unclip the Glove Compartment:

    • Squeeze the sides of the glove compartment inward to release the clips.
    • Allow the compartment to swing down fully.
3. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  1. Locate the Access Cover:

    • Find the rectangular access cover behind the glove compartment.
  2. Remove the Access Cover:

    • Press the tabs on both sides of the cover to release it.
    • Carefully pull the cover off to expose the cabin air filter.
4. Replace the Cabin Air Filter
  1. Remove the Old Filter:

    • Pull the old cabin air filter straight out.
    • Note the orientation of the filter for correct installation of the new one.
  2. Install the New Filter:

    • Insert the new cabin air filter in the same orientation as the old one.
    • Ensure it fits snugly into the housing.
5. Reassemble the Glove Compartment
  1. Reattach the Access Cover:

    • Align the access cover and press it back into place until the tabs click.
  2. Reinstall the Glove Compartment:
