Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
  • Wear safety gloves and goggles.
2. Lift the Vehicle
  • Use a hydraulic jack to lift the vehicle at the designated lift points.
  • Secure the vehicle with jack stands for safety.
3. Remove the Wheels
  • Use a socket set to remove the lug nuts and take off the front and/or rear wheels.
4. Remove Old Struts or Shocks
  • For struts:
    1. Disconnect the sway bar link from the strut.
    2. Remove the bolts securing the strut to the steering knuckle.
    3. Unscrew the top strut mount bolts from the engine bay.
    4. Carefully remove the strut assembly.
  • For shocks:
    1. Remove the bolts securing the bottom of the shock to the axle.
    2. Unscrew the top shock mount from inside the vehicle or trunk.
    3. Take out the shock absorber.
5. Install New Struts or Shocks
