1. Preparation

2. Clean the Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body:
  • Tools: Socket set, screwdriver
  • Safety: Wear gloves and eye protection.
• Use throttle body cleaner to spray the throttle plate and surrounding areas.
• Gently scrub with a soft brush if necessary and wipe clean with a lint-free cloth.
• Reattach the air intake duct securely.

3. Inspect and Clean the Idle Air Control Valve (IAC)

• Locate the IAC valve, typically found on the throttle body.
• Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the IAC valve:
  • Tools: Socket set, torque wrench
• Clean the IAC valve with throttle body cleaner and a soft brush.
• Reinstall the IAC valve and reconnect the electrical connector, tightening to manufacturer specifications.

4. Check Fuel Pressure
