Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts: Ensure you have a replacement bulb (H11 for low beam or 9005 for high beam), gloves, and a flathead screwdriver.
  • Safety: Turn off the engine and remove the keys from the ignition. Allow the headlight assembly to cool if it was recently in use.
2. Access the Headlight Assembly
  • Use the flathead screwdriver to remove any plastic clips or covers that are securing the headlight assembly.
  • Gently pull the headlight assembly forward to access the bulb socket.
3. Remove the Old Bulb
  • Locate the bulb socket at the back of the headlight assembly.
  • Twist the socket counterclockwise to release it from the assembly.
  • Carefully pull the old bulb straight out of the socket without touching the glass part.
4. Install the New Bulb
  • Take the new bulb out of its packaging, holding it by the base to avoid touching the glass.
  • Insert the new bulb into the socket until it fully seats in place.
  • Twist the socket clockwise to secure it back into the headlight assembly.
5. Reassemble the Headlight Assembly
  • Carefully push the headlight assembly back into its original position.
  • Reattach any clips or covers that were removed during disassembly.
6. Test the New Bulb
  • Turn on the vehicle and activate the headlights to ensure the new bulb is functioning properly.
  • Check the alignment of the headlight beam to ensure it is aimed correctly.
