1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools: flathead screwdriver, small Phillips screwdriver, multimeter, replacement battery (CR2032).
• Ensure you are in a well-lit, clean workspace.

2. Open the Key Fob

• Use the flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob along the seam.
• Carefully detach the two halves without damaging the internal components.

3. Replace the Battery

• Remove the old battery from the key fob by noting its orientation.
• Insert the new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing the correct direction.
• Reassemble the key fob by aligning the two halves and pressing them together until they click.

4. Reprogram the Key Fob (if necessary)

• Sit in the vehicle with the new battery installed in the key fob.
• Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
• Press and hold the "LOCK" button on the key fob for 5 seconds.
• Turn the ignition to "OFF" and remove the key. Test the key fob for functionality.
