Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Lint-free cloth, funnel for adding fluid if necessary.
  • Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is warm.
2. Check Fluid Level
  • Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean to remove any old fluid.
  • Reinsert the dipstick fully into the tube, then remove it again to check the fluid level.
  • The fluid should be within the marked range on the dipstick. If it is low, proceed to add fluid.
3. Add Transmission Fluid (if needed)
  • Locate the transmission fluid filler neck, which is usually near the dipstick.
  • Using a funnel, carefully add the recommended transmission fluid (Toyota Genuine ATF WS) until the fluid level reaches the proper mark on the dipstick.
  • Recheck the fluid level after adding.
4. Reassemble
  • Reinsert the dipstick securely back into the tube.
  • Close the hood and ensure all tools are removed from the engine bay.
