Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: flathead screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, gloves, and a new headlight bulb (H11 for low beam or 9005 for high beam, verify based on the specific model).
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface with the engine turned off and keys removed.
2. Access the Headlight Assembly
  1. Open the hood and secure it with the prop rod.
  2. Locate the headlight assembly on the side where the bulb needs replacement.
  3. Remove any covers or panels obstructing access if applicable, using a Phillips screwdriver.
3. Remove the Old Bulb
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlight bulb by pressing the tab and pulling it straight out.
  2. Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise to unlock it from the assembly.
  3. Carefully pull the old bulb straight out of the socket.
4. Install the New Bulb
  1. Handle the new bulb by the base to avoid touching the glass with bare hands (oil from fingers can cause the bulb to fail).
  2. Insert the new bulb into the socket and rotate it clockwise to secure it in place.
  3. Reconnect the electrical connector to the bulb until it clicks into place.
5. Reassemble and Test
  1. Replace any covers or panels that were removed during access.
  2. Close the hood securely.
  3. Turn on the headlights to test the new bulb for proper operation.
