Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety during repairs.
  • Allow the engine to cool completely before beginning the work.
2. Fuel System Inspection
  • 1. Remove the fuel pump relay to depressurize the fuel system.
  • 2. Connect the fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail.
  • 3. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position (without starting) and check the fuel pressure; it should be within manufacturer specifications.
  • 4. If low, inspect the fuel pump and filter for clogs or failure. Replace as needed.
3. Ignition System Repair
  • 1. Remove the engine cover (if applicable) to access the ignition coils.
  • 2. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition coils.
  • 3. Remove the ignition coils using a socket set.
  • 4. Inspect spark plugs for wear; replace if necessary.
  • 5. Install new ignition coils and reconnect the electrical connectors. Torque to manufacturer specifications.
4. Throttle Body Cleaning
  • 1. Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector.
  • 2. Remove the intake duct to access the throttle body.
  • 3. Using throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth, clean the throttle plate and surrounding areas.
  • 4. Reassemble the intake duct and throttle body connection.
5. MAF Sensor Inspection
  • 1. Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
  • 2. Remove the MAF sensor from the intake duct.
  • 3. Clean the sensor using MAF cleaner (do not touch the sensor element).
  • 4. Reinstall the MAF sensor and reconnect the electrical connector.
