   • Disconnect the electrical connector from the solenoid.
   • Remove the mounting bolts using a socket set.
   • Pull the solenoid straight out from its housing.

3. Install New VVT Solenoid

   • Apply a small amount of engine oil to the O-ring of the new solenoid.
   • Insert the new solenoid into the housing and secure it with bolts.
   • Reconnect the electrical connector.
