1. Preparation

• Locate the oil filler cap on the engine.
• Remove the cap and insert a funnel.
• Add the appropriate type and amount of engine oil as specified in the owner’s manual.
• Replace the oil filler cap securely.

3. Inspect and Replace Oil Filter

• Tools Required: Oil filter wrench, drain pan.
• Place a drain pan beneath the oil filter.
• Use the oil filter wrench to remove the old oil filter.
• Apply a thin layer of new oil to the rubber gasket of the new filter.
• Install the new oil filter by hand until snug, then tighten it according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

4. Change Engine Oil (If Necessary)
