1. Preparation

• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool.
• Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.

2. Remove Underbody Shield

• Use a socket set to remove the bolts securing the underbody shield.
• Carefully lower the shield and set it aside.

3. Inspect and Replace Torque Converter

• 3.1. Drain Transmission Fluid

  • Locate the transmission fluid pan and remove the drain plug using a wrench.
  • Allow the fluid to completely drain into a suitable container.

• 3.2. Remove Transmission Pan

  • Unbolt the transmission pan using a socket set and remove it to access the torque converter.

• 3.3. Disconnect Torque Converter

  • Unbolt the torque converter from the flexplate using a socket set.
  • Carefully pull the torque converter forward to disengage it from the transmission input shaft.

• 3.4. Install New Torque Converter

  • Align the new torque converter with the input shaft.
  • Push it into place and bolt it to the flexplate securely.

4. Reassemble Components
