1. Preparation

• Tools Required: OBD-II scanner, socket set, torque wrench, coolant tester, thermometer.
• Safety Warnings: Disconnect the battery before starting any electrical work. Allow the engine to cool before opening the radiator or coolant reservoir to prevent burns.

2. Replace Thermostat

1. Drain the coolant from the radiator and engine block to avoid spillage.
2. Remove the engine cover if applicable, to gain access to the thermostat housing.
3. Disconnect the thermostat housing by removing the bolts with a socket set.
4. Take out the old thermostat and inspect the sealing surface for damage.
5. Install the new thermostat in the correct orientation, ensuring it seats properly.
6. Reattach the thermostat housing and torque the bolts to manufacturer specifications.
7. Refill the cooling system with the appropriate type of coolant and bleed air from the system.

3. Replace Water Pump (if faulty)
