Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather tools and parts required for the repair.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
• Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during repairs.

2. Fluid Change

• Tools Required: Socket set, funnel, transmission fluid pump
• Remove the transmission fluid drain plug and drain the old fluid into a suitable container.
• Replace the drain plug and torque it to the manufacturer’s specification.
• Refill with the manufacturer-recommended transmission fluid through the fill port using a funnel and fluid pump.

3. Transmission Control Module (TCM) Reset
