1. Preparation

• Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety during repairs.

2. Inspect and Clean Air Filter

• Remove the air filter housing cover using a socket set.
• Take out the air filter and inspect it for dirt or damage.
• Clean the air filter or replace it if heavily soiled. Reinstall the air filter and housing cover securely.

3. Check and Replace Fuel Filter (if applicable)

• Locate the fuel filter (usually near the fuel tank or in-line).
• Relieve fuel pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls.
• Disconnect the fuel lines using a fuel line disconnect tool.
• Remove the old fuel filter and replace it with a new one, ensuring correct orientation.
• Reconnect the fuel lines and replace the fuel pump fuse.

4. Clean Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake hose by loosening the clamps.
• Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the throttle plate and surrounding area.
• Reassemble the air intake hose securely.

5. Inspect and Replace Spark Plugs

• Remove the ignition coil covers using a socket set.
• Disconnect the ignition coils and remove them.
