Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: OBD-II scanner, basic hand tools, multimeter, throttle body cleaner, transmission fluid (if needed).
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Clean the Throttle Body
  1. Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
  2. Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the throttle plate and surrounding area.
  3. Reassemble the air intake duct and reconnect the battery.
3. Check and Replace the Mass Airflow Sensor (if necessary)
  1. Remove the MAF sensor from the air intake system.
  2. Inspect for dirt or damage; clean with MAF cleaner if dirty.
  3. If cleaning does not resolve the issue, replace with a new MAF sensor.
  4. Reinstall the MAF sensor and secure all harness connections.
4. Inspect and Replace the Transmission Fluid (if needed)
  1. Locate the transmission dipstick and check the fluid level.
  2. If fluid is low or dirty, drain the old fluid using a transmission fluid pump or pan.
  3. Replace with the manufacturer-recommended transmission fluid.
  4. Recheck the fluid level after replacing and adjust as necessary.
5. Test the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the accelerator pedal position sensor.
  2. Use a multimeter to check the resistance values against specifications (consult service manual for exact values).
  3. If out of specification, replace the sensor with a new one.
  4. Reconnect the sensor and ensure all connections are secure.
