Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Make sure you are working in a well-lit area.

Tools Required:

  • Flathead screwdriver or a small prying tool
  • New battery (CR2032)
2. Open the Key Fob
  1. Locate the small notch on the edge of the key fob.
  2. Insert the flathead screwdriver or prying tool into the notch.
  3. Gently twist the tool to separate the two halves of the key fob casing.
3. Remove the Old Battery
  1. Carefully take out the old battery from its compartment.
  2. Note the orientation of the battery (positive side facing up).
4. Insert the New Battery
  1. Place the new CR2032 battery into the compartment in the same orientation as the old one.
  2. Ensure that it is seated properly and making good contact.
5. Reassemble the Key Fob
  1. Align the two halves of the key fob casing.
