Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Inspect and Replace Ignition Components
  • Remove Ignition Coils:

    • Disconnect the electrical connector from each ignition coil.
    • Remove the screws securing the coils using a socket set.
    • Pull the coils straight out from the spark plug holes.
  • Inspect Spark Plugs:

    • Remove spark plugs using a spark plug socket.
    • Check for wear, carbon deposits, or damage; replace if necessary with OEM specifications.
  • Reinstall Ignition Coils:

    • Position the ignition coils back into their respective holes.
    • Secure them with screws and reconnect the electrical connectors.
3. Clean Throttle Body
  • Remove Throttle Body:

    • Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector.
    • Remove the intake duct connected to the throttle body.
    • Unbolt the throttle body using a socket set and carefully remove it.
  • Clean Throttle Body:

    • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to remove carbon buildup.
    • Ensure the throttle plate moves freely.
  • Reinstall Throttle Body:

    • Position the throttle body and bolt it back in place.
    • Reconnect the intake duct and electrical connectors.
4. Inspect and Clean MAF Sensor
  • Remove MAF Sensor:

    • Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF sensor.
    • Unclamp and remove the sensor from the intake duct.
  • Clean MAF Sensor:

    • Use MAF sensor cleaner and spray it onto the sensor elements without touching them.
  • Reinstall MAF Sensor:

    • Reconnect the MAF sensor and clamp it back into place.
