Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shock.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is off.
2. Replace Headlight Bulbs
  • Tools Required: Screwdriver set, gloves (to avoid touching bulb glass)
  • Remove the headlight assembly cover by unscrewing the retaining screws.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb.
  • Remove the old bulb by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it out.
  • Insert the new bulb into the socket, turning it clockwise to lock it in place.
  • Reconnect the electrical connector.
  • Replace the headlight assembly cover and secure it with screws.
3. Check and Replace Fuses
  • Tools Required: Fuse puller or pliers
  • Locate the fuse box using the owner's manual.
  • Identify the fuse for the low beam headlights and inspect it.
  • If the fuse is blown, replace it with one of the same amperage (usually 15A).
  • Reinstall the fuse cover.
4. Inspect Wiring and Connectors
  • Tools Required: Multimeter
  • Visually inspect the wiring harness leading to the headlights for any signs of wear or damage.
  • Use the multimeter to check for continuity in the wires.
  • If any wires are frayed or broken, repair or replace them as necessary.
5. Test the Headlight Relay
  • Tools Required: Multimeter, relay tester (if available)
  • Locate the headlight relay in the fuse box.
  • Remove the relay and swap it with a similar relay to test functionality.
  • If the headlights work with the swapped relay, replace the faulty relay.
