Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Disconnect the battery to avoid electrical shorts.
• Ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface and secure it with wheel chocks.

2. Replace Spark Plugs

• Remove the engine cover if applicable.
• Disconnect the ignition coils from the spark plugs.
• Use a socket set to unscrew the old spark plugs and replace them with new ones.
• Torque the new spark plugs to the manufacturer’s specifications (usually around 15-20 ft-lbs).
• Reconnect the ignition coils and the engine cover.

3. Check and Replace Fuel Filter

• Locate the fuel filter (usually near the fuel tank).
• Depressurize the fuel system by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
• Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter using appropriate fuel line removal tools.
• Replace the old fuel filter with a new one, ensuring the flow direction is correct.
• Reconnect the fuel lines and reinstall the fuel pump fuse.

4. Clean Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
• Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean any carbon buildup inside the throttle body.
• Reassemble the air intake duct securely.

5. Inspect and Replace Ignition Coils (if needed)
