Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools:
    • Flathead screwdriver
    • Torx screwdriver (if applicable)
    • New cabin air filter
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the ignition is off.
2. Access the Cabin Filter
  • For models 2008-2016:
    1. Open the glove compartment.
    2. Remove any contents from the glove compartment.
    3. Locate the two side stops on the glove compartment and compress them inward to allow the compartment to drop down fully.
  • For models 2017-present:
    1. Open the glove compartment and remove the damper arm by pressing the sides to release it.
    2. Pull down the glove compartment to access the cabin filter cover.
3. Remove and Replace Filter
  1. Locate the cabin filter cover; it may be secured with clips or screws.
  2. Remove the cover by unclipping or unscrewing it.
  3. Carefully pull out the old cabin air filter.
