Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the replacement.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface with the engine off.
  • Put on safety gloves and glasses.
2. Access the Headlight Assembly
  • Open the hood and secure it with the prop rod.
  • Locate the headlight assembly at the front of the vehicle.
  • Identify the back cover of the headlight assembly which may have clips or screws.
3. Remove the Headlight Bulb
  • Remove the back cover of the headlight assembly by unclipping or unscrewing it.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the headlight bulb by pressing the release tab and pulling it away.
  • Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise to release it from the headlight assembly.
  • Carefully pull the old bulb straight out of the socket without touching the glass.
4. Install the New Headlight Bulb
  • Take the new headlight bulb (H11 for low beam, H7 for high beam, verify as per your model) out of the packaging without touching the glass part.
  • Insert the new bulb into the socket and rotate it clockwise to secure it in place.
  • Reconnect the wiring harness to the bulb ensuring it clicks into place.
5. Reassemble the Headlight Assembly
  • Reattach the back cover of the headlight assembly by clipping or screwing it back in.
  • Ensure everything is secured properly to prevent moisture ingress.
6. Final Check
  • Close the hood of the vehicle.
  • Turn on the headlights to ensure the new bulb is functioning correctly.
