1. Preparation

2. Locate the Oxygen Sensor
  • Identify the location of the oxygen sensor(s). The 2008-2017 Volvo XC60 may have multiple sensors: upstream (pre-catalytic converter) and downstream (post-catalytic converter).
  • Consult the vehicle's service manual for precise locations.
3. Remove the Old Oxygen Sensor
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the oxygen sensor.
