Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface with the ignition turned off.
  • Wear gloves to keep the area clean and avoid debris.
2. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  • Tools Required: Torx screwdriver or socket set
  • Locate the glove compartment in the passenger side of the vehicle.
  • Open the glove compartment and remove any contents inside.
  • Depress the sides of the glove compartment to release the stops and allow it to swing down fully.
3. Remove the Old Cabin Air Filter
  • Locate the cabin air filter cover, which is usually positioned behind the glove compartment.
  • Unscrew or unclip the cover to access the filter.
  • Carefully pull out the old cabin air filter, noting its orientation for the new filter installation.

  • Replace the cabin air filter cover and secure it with screws or clips.
5. Reassemble the Glove Compartment

  • Ensure it clicks back into place to secure it.
