Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the engine is cool to avoid burns.
  • Gather necessary tools: a clean funnel, coolant (if needed), and a rag for any spills.
2. Inspect and Fill Coolant
  1. Locate Coolant Reservoir: Find the coolant reservoir at the back of the engine bay on the driver's side.
  2. Open Reservoir Cap: Twist the cap counterclockwise to remove it. If the engine has been running, use a rag to protect your hand from any residual heat.
  3. Check Coolant Level: Look at the coolant level against the MIN and MAX markings on the side of the reservoir.
  4. Add Coolant: If the level is below the MIN line:
    • Use a funnel to avoid spills.
    • Pour the appropriate type of coolant (as specified in the owner’s manual) until it reaches the MAX line.
  5. Seal the Reservoir: Replace and tighten the cap securely.
3. Clean Up
  • Wipe any spilled coolant with a rag and dispose of it properly, as it can be harmful to pets and the environment.
