• Clean the sensor threads and the surrounding area to ensure no debris enters the exhaust system during installation.

4. Install the New Oxygen Sensor

• Apply anti-seize compound (if recommended) to the threads of the new oxygen sensor.
• Screw the new oxygen sensor into place by hand, then tighten it with the oxygen sensor socket to the manufacturer's specified torque (usually around 30 lb-ft).
