1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a safe location with the engine off.
  • Gather the key fob for the ignition.
2. Resetting the Oil Change Light
  1. Insert the key into the ignition without turning it on.
  2. Locate the trip odometer reset button on the instrument cluster.
  3. Press and hold the trip odometer reset button.
  4. While holding the button, turn the ignition key to the "ON" position but do not start the engine.
  5. Keep holding the reset button for approximately 10 seconds until the oil change light flashes and turns off.
