my Honda Pilot YF3 (2016-2022) has poor throttle response what's the issue

1. Preparation

• Gather all necessary tools and parts.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface, and the engine is cool.
• Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.

2. Clean the Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body using a socket set.
• Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the interior of the throttle body thoroughly.
• Reattach the air intake duct and ensure all connections are secure.

3. Inspect and Test Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

• Locate the TPS on the throttle body and disconnect the electrical connector.
• Using a multimeter, measure the voltage output of the TPS while slowly moving the throttle plate.
  • Expected voltage range should be between 0.5V (closed) and 4.5V (fully open).
• If the readings are outside this range, replace the TPS.

4. Check Fuel Delivery System

• Locate the fuel pressure test port on the fuel rail.
• Connect a fuel pressure gauge and turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine.
• Verify that the fuel pressure is within the manufacturer's specifications (approximately 30-45 psi).
• If the pressure is low, inspect the fuel pump and fuel filter for blockages.

5. Reconnect Battery

• After completing the repairs, reconnect the battery terminals securely.
